Roy Marshall Brower of Medicine Hat, passed away on Monday, March 3rd, 2014 at the age of 61 years, beloved father of Pearl (Dean Jones) and Gordon (Lee Campagnolo). Roy is also survived by his mother, Florence Brower; one sister, Valerie Brower; his aunt, Madeline Clarke; the mother of his children, Laurie Cole; one niece, Paige Williamson; and one nephew, Blake Williamson. Roy was predeceased by his father, Lynn Brower. Roy was born on October 30th, 1952 and grew up in Etzikom. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed travelling and holidays. He took the most pleasure in his ranch, which he spent the majority of his life enjoying and operating. In recent years, Roy retired to Medicine Hat to enjoy his condo on the river until the time of his passing. The Funeral Service will be held in the CYPRESS CENTRE, 2055 – 21st Avenue SE, on Saturday, March 8th, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. with Gary W. Goran officiating. A Private Interment will take place in the Family Plot at Hillside Cemetery. Memorial gifts in Roys memory may be made to the Etzikom Museum, PO Box 585, Etzikom, Alberta, T0K 0W0. My condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of spending time with Roy hunting on the ranch. I was introduced to him through my brother and when visiting was always made to feel at home. Roy loved his ranch, hunting and fishing. He willed be missed but rest assured he will be hunting and fishing wherever he may be. Goodbye Roy. Wade youngman
