Posted: April 25th, 2014Mrs. Estelle Mutschler, beloved wife of Mr. Melvin Mutschler of Medicine Hat, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, April 17th, 2014 at the age of 84 years.
Estelle also leaves to cherish her memory four children: Linda (Barrey) Stuber and their family, Trevor Stuber (Desirae Bellisle) and Travis Stuber (Laura Button); Debbie (Philip) Gazdag and their family, Kim Gazdag (Peter Somerstad) and Neil (Jaclyn) Gazdag; Darlene Wegner and her family, Jody (Aaron) Oland and Stacy Wegner (Jennifer Bain); and Allan Mutschler and his family, Curtis and Kaylie; nine great-grandchildren, Tyson, Sylvia, Caroline, Shaelin, Josh, Dani, Jonathan, Mia, and Meika; two sisters, Joan Rexroth and Annette Glass; as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will also lovingly remember her. Estelle was predeceased by her parents, Ed and Annie Hepper; as well as her sister, Kathleen Smylie. Estelle will always be remembered as a woman who deeply loved her family. She did anything and everything she could for us, whether it be with helping hands, words of wisdom, or wonderful food. She was also a loyal and loving friend to many. Estelle was an inspiration to all of us through her long and brave battle with her illness. She touched each and every one of us profoundly and will be greatly missed. The Funeral Service will be held in HILLCREST EVANGELICAL MISSIONARY CHURCH, 3785 – 13th Avenue SE, on Wednesday, April 30th, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Dr. Shane P. Andrus officiating. A Private Interment will take place in the Family Plot at Saamis Prairie View Cemetery. Memorial gifts in Estelle’s memory may be made to The Salvation Army, 164 Stratton Way SE, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1B 3R3.
