1939 ~ ROGERS ~ 2015

Ellen Rogers of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late David Rogers, passed away on Monday, July 13th, 2015 at the age of 76 years. Ellen leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Karen (Allan) Heidinger and Cheryl (John) Lees; six grandchildren, Matthew Heidinger, Peter (Teri Dawn) Lees, Jamie (Victoria) Lees, Samantha Heidinger, Delfina Henderson, and David Henderson; four great-grandchildren, Brandon, Connor, Derek, and Kathryn; three brothers, Tommy George, Freddy George, and Tony (Tina) George; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Ellen was predeceased by her husband, David in 1995; her parents, Matthew and Elizabeth George; one son, Lee Rogers; two brothers, Matthew George and Roy George; one brother-in-law, Cyril; and two sisters-in-law, Lilly and Violet. Ellen was born in Portsmouth, England where she was also raised. She immigrated to Canada in 1974. Ellen was a very private person and truly enjoyed the company of family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
