Andrew Storozuk, at the age of 32, peacefully passed away on the palliative floor at the Grey Nuns Hospital. He will be forever remembered by his surviving relatives, mother (Ida Storozuk); sisters (Shelley Storozuk, Sherry Trupp, Heather Brandt); brother-in-laws (Jon Bottaro, Justin Trupp, Trevor Brandt); nephews (Gavin & Pierce Bottaro); nieces (Addington Bottaro, Kezia & Audrey Trupp, Ava & Orianna Brandt); grandmothers (Anne Storozuk & Alma Dalman); and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. Andrew was predeceased by his grandfathers (Richard Dalman & Bill Storozuk), father (Jerry Storozuk), and uncles (Art Dalman & Tom Storozuk). The funeral service will be held at Saamis Memorial Funeral Chapel, in Medicine Hat, on November 21, 2016 at 10 am. A memorial reception will immediately follow at the Royal Canadian Legion in the Lancaster Room. In lieu of flowers and gifts to the family, your support can be shown by donating to Grey Nuns Hospital Palliative Care Program or the Canadian Cancer Society.

    to Andrew’s family: My deepest sympathy! I knew Andrew when he came to Holy Family and took in the Alpha Program and later went to a Live In Retreat. Andrew was truly a joy to be around. He was very interested in the things of God. May God grant him eternal rest now and give you, his family peace and comfort in knowing that he is now free of illness and pain:)

    Although we only knew Andrew for a short time, he became a cherished member of our family. We will miss his phone calls and his visits to the farm with his homemade apple pie. Andrew was a truly special person: kind, caring, compassionate and a wonderful friend. Although we met under difficult circumstances, his friendship was such a blessing. We want to extend our sincerest condolences to all of Andrew’s family, and we pray that you will feel God’s comfort surround you. Please know that we will remember Andrew always.
