Barbara Bernice Crawford of Medicine Hat, passed away on Tuesday, January 12th, 2016 at the age of 65 years. Barbara leaves to cherish her memory four children, Melissa Hirsch, Adam (Carrie) Crawford, Darren (Marlaina) Crawford, all of Medicine Hat, and Angela Crawford of Redcliff; fifteen grandchildren, Kaitlin, Brandon, Brittany, Dakota, Sytara, Addie, Shia, Jaiden, Lauren, Brennan, Kylie, Heather, Ryder, Josh, and Rosa; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gordon (Tammy) Fortier and Rick Fortier (Janelle Adams); three sisters, Jean (Bob) Brannam, Cheryl (Don) Nesbitt, and Michelle Schneider (Quentin Paul); one sister-in-law, Nancy Fortier; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Gordon and Bernice Fortier; one grandson, Taylor; and one brother, Bruce Fortier. Barbara loved travelling, playing games, doing word search puzzles, dancing, listening to music, and camping. Faith and church were very meaningful to Barbara. Family was also very important to her and she enjoyed the special visits and vacations with her sisters and daughter as well as spending time with her grandchildren. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and at the CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS, 7 Sierra Boulevard SW, on Friday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS on Friday, January 15th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop Bryan Heninger presiding.
