1937 ~ TARNASKE ~ 2016

Oscar Tarnaske of Medicine Hat, passed away at Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Monday, September 5th, 2016 at the age of 79 years. Oscar leaves behind his daughters, Pauline Tarnaske of Cochrane and Bernice Liepert (Stephen) of Medicine Hat; and grandson, Jesse Liepert of Medicine Hat. Oscar was predeceased by his parents, Wilhelm and Berta Tarnaske. Oscar moved from Germany to Canada as a young boy with his family. He made Medicine Hat his permanent home but never forgot about his German roots. Previous to his illness he enjoyed bike riding, travelling, fixing up old cars and being outside with nature. He will be remembered for his incredible strength and perseverance and will be sadly missed. A Private Graveside Service will be held.
