Gary Sylvester Schlachter, beloved husband of Gabriella “Gaby” Schlachter of Walsh, passed away on Tuesday, October 3rd, 2017 at the age of 72 years. Gary also leaves to cherish his memory one sister, Mary (Alvin) Wutzke; and five nephews, Alex (Michelle) Wutzke, Brad (Janneane) Wutzke, Chuck (Doré) Wutzke, Donald (Leslie) Wutzke and Fred Wutzke; as well as 13 great nieces and nephews. Gary was predeceased by his parents, Timothy and Lily Schlachter; and two brothers, Kenny Schlachter and Albert Schlachter. Gary loved going for his early morning walks and looked forward to having a conversation with anyone he may meet up with. He was always more than willing to help someone if they needed it. He loved everybody and I have never heard him say a bad word about anyone. He enjoyed puttering around in the yard, but most of all he loved his 2 precious girls, our furbabies, Stephie and Roxy. Honouring Gary’s wishes, no formal funeral services will be held. Memorial gifts in Gary’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
