LURLINE ‘RUSTY’ GOODFELLOW

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Rusty Goodfellow announce her passing in Medicine Hat on Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at the age of 99 years. Rusty was predeceased by her husband, Amos McKay Goodfellow as well as a daughter, Lynne Campbell. Left to cherish Rusty’s memory is her daughter, Sue (Jim) Little and son-in-law, Jim Campbell (Sue Rebitt); grandchildren, Barb (Gil) Delaurier and Kari (Martin) Herrington; step-grandson, Jeff Little; great- grandchildren, Ryan (Farrah) Delaurier, Krystal (Shawn) Schellenberg and Nikki Herrington; great-great-grandchildren, Braxton, Tanner, Lincoln and Nash; sister, Phyllis Burk as well as nieces and nephews. Rusty was born in Medicine Hat on January 8, 1920. She married Amos M. Goodfellow on July 20, 1940, the start of a wonderful life together! They had many interests, but especially enjoyed dancing and travelling together. She was kind, thoughtful, loving and caring to her family and friends and she will be dearly missed. Special thanks to River Ridge Seniors Village for the care that they provided. A Memorial Celebration of Rusty’s life will be held at a future date with further announcements at that time. We are so sorry to hear of Rusty’s passing she has been a great friend of the Althen family. She was real close to my aunt Anna Andahle and they spent much time together WEWILL MISS her dearly she had so many experiances to talk about from the early year year’s in Vale &Bowmanton with her GREAT Husband Ammy I used to stop in to see her quite often shee was alway’s glad to see you.
