1937 ~ LLOYD MURK ~ 2019

Lloyd Walter Murk of Medicine Hat, loving husband of the late Frances Murk, passed away on Wednesday, March 27th, 2019 at the age of 81 years. Lloyd leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Laura (John) Jones; his two sons, Gary Murk and Randy Murk (LeOnne Rempel); grandchildren, Jason Smith-Murk and Dayna Lee Starke (Mandy Lawrence); sister, Blanche Clink; numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; great friends, Dennis Mudrack and Dave Mudrack, Linda Lamirade; Wally Gewer; the Medican and Mudrack crews; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Lloyd was predeceased by his wife, Frances; parents, Carl and Eva Murk; brother, Philip Murk; and Gladys Sackman. Lloyd always considered himself a very lucky man to have had two families that gave his life meaning and joy. He loved and cherished his personal family as well as a very large construction family. Together, with all his buddies, Lloyd was responsible for many of the sidewalks and curbs in Medicine Hat over 33 years with Medican Construction. He will be dearly missed by all his friends and family. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Thursday from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 12:00 until 12:55 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL on Friday, April 5th, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with Gary W.
