He was predeceased by his beautiful wife, Margaret on April 24th, 2015. They had celebrated 65 years of marriage. Wilf and Margaret started their life together in Duchess and moved to Medicine Hat with 3 young daughters which was an important decision at Wilf’s age of 23. He was a proud, hard-working and self-motivated father of 7 children, 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. As a respected business owner of Southern Car and Trailer Sales, Cozy Home Furnishings and lastly Holiday RV Super Centre, he had won many awards for his accomplishments. He went through some difficult times but worked diligently and continued to persevere always coming out on top. He will be sadly missed by his seven children, Tyrril (Don) Tonks of Salmon Arm, Peggy (Dale) Reimer of Calgary, Jan (Terry) Seitz, Mark (Jenine), Pam (Dale) Fandrick, Stewart (Jasmina), Kurt (Tannis, who passed away September 8th, 2016) of Calgary; grandchildren, Dillon (Renee) Tonks, Erin (Jeff) Wiseman, Brianne (Scott) Hamilton, Whitney (Doug) King, Jonathan (Kathleen) Seitz, Sean (Angela) Seitz, Cole (Michelle) Scheuerman, Scott (Jenny) Scheuerman, Keri (Chad) Schiebelbein, Tyson (Jill) Fandrick, Clayton (Natalea) Fandrick, Mitchell (Shannon) Scheuerman, Savannah (Kyle) Scheuerman, Lucas Scheuerman and Niklas Scheuerman. Dad loved singing with his family and listening to music. Together with Mom they enjoyed their Sunday drives, checking out the crops and stopping along the way to do some fishing. They were also fortunate to be able to travel extensively, visiting such places as Europe, Japan, South Korea and Hawaii. Our memories of Dad will live on in all of our hearts. May he find peace in his eternal life. There will be a private family internment with Reverend Shane Hein of St. Peter Lutheran Church officiating.
