GUCKERT

Mike John Guckert of Prelate, Saskatchewan passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019, at the age of 89 years, beloved husband of the late Mary Guckert. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Lloyd (Betty) Guckert, Michael (Marlene) Guckert; one daughter-in-law, Bonnie Sederberg; seven grandchildren, Jerri (Blaine) and their children Owen, Easton, Jax and Isabel, Tammy (Russell), Staci (Greg) and their children, Addison and Hayden, David (Kayla) and their children, Kyle and Ethen, Kimberly (Ben), Angela (Robert) and their children, Danielle and Colton, Jerry (Rae) and their children, Kaileb, Casey, Indy, Ryden and Ripley; his great great grandchildren; his brother, Sam Guckert; three sisters, Beula Hardowa, Rose Wilson and Ione Dietz as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Martha and Casimer Guckert; his wife Mary in December of 1990; one son, Richard in 1981, and one sister Anne. Family and friends will gather for prayers in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated in the Holy Family Parish (1451 Strachan Road S.E.) on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. with Fr. Vijaya Bathinen celebrant. Interment will take place in the Prelate Cemetery at a later date.
