CAROL MCLELLAN

1947 ~ 2019

Carol Ann McLellan passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at the age of 71 years. Carol is survived by one sister, Lou (Paul) Sutherland of Calgary as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Also left to mourn Carol’s passing is her beloved aunt, Bobbie McLellan – Vaughn as well as a number of cousins. Carol was predeceased by her parents, Sid and Monica McLellan and her sister, Joan Gertzen. Carol spent many years as a loyal and hardworking CP Rail employee until her retirement in 2009. She was very intelligent and kind with the charisma to form and maintain many, many friendships. Carol loved animals of all kinds and was a long term, enthusiastic supporter of several wildlife and animal welfare groups. She was very good at working with her hands on all sorts of crafts. A Celebration of Carol’s life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Friday, August 2, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. with Major Murray Jaster officiating.
