1933 ~ LORRAINE DIRK ~ 2019

Lorraine Dirk of Medicine Hat, passed away on Sunday, August 4th, 2019 at the age of 85 years. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Keith Dirk; daughters, Nancy (Bruce) Vaessen and Peggy (Bill) Stewart; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and siblings, Eileen (Cyril) Bracconier, Phyllis (John) Lanz, Jimmie Rath, and Kathleen (Bob) Fuller. Lorraine was predeceased by her parents, Jacob and Katherine Rath; son, Roger Dirk; daughter, Gloria Blaquiere; two brothers; and her three sisters. Lorraine worked at the Pink Lantern in Medicine Hat for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and playing cards. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her. A private family graveside will be held at SAAMIS PRAIRIE VIEW CEMETERY.
