August 16, 1953 ~ October 27, 2019

On October 27, 2019, Carl Allard, Low Life Biker Trash and soul mate to Kelly, is Riding Free.  A hard man to kill, medical staff dubbed him ‘The Miracle Man’.  Carl passed away from esophageal cancer, his second cancer since 1989. An only child born in Empress, AB., Carl spawned nine offspring; Kelci (Clay), Lynsey (Rick), Megan (Peter), Andy (Kyla), Dustin, Arlen (Krissy), Tedd, Joe (Sylvie) and Renee many grandchildren and even a great-grandchild.  Carl worked on the family farm as a child running all kinds of equipment at a young age.  He loved being an equipment operator and especially using the high hoe.  Carl enjoyed long haul trucking with over 2 million miles under his belt.  Kelly started trucking with him when the kids moved out, but until then they relied on their Radar Love.  Carl and Kelly had their first date 31 years ago, they have been together ever since.  Carl even threw away his Little Black Book.  The third marriage was the last.  They met when Kelly lived right next door to his first ex-wife.  Kelly had two kids, Carl adopted them. He stepped in when the bio-dad stepped out. Carl taught Kelly how to ride motorcycle bringing out the Crazy Biker Bitch in her and she brought out the Crazy Cat Man in him.  Their love for each other was legendary; he was her Sweet Cheeks and she was his Boo Angel.  Carl had many sides; wild, passionate, tender, mischievous and loving.  He was so proud to ride beside Kelly and his kids, most embracing the Biker Lifestyle. He had a way with people, charming many women.  Upon meeting him, Kelly’s grandmother told her she would not worry about Kelly anymore.  Carl loved motorcycles, he built his first Harley with his dad at the age of 12.  He did things his way, far too independent to join a club.  The only rules he followed were his own, the only opinion that mattered were his and Kelly’s.  Carl loved kids, he melted around babies.  An incredible man, husband and father, man enough to show his feelings.  Carl loved animals and would not stand idly by when people were cruel, some learned a very painful lesson.  While the world is a lesser place by his absence, heaven / the afterlife / whatever; is a much brighter, far more interesting place.  As Carl would say, !!!Freedom!!!
“Ride Free My Love, I will take you with me wherever I go. You always told  people that I ‘had your six’, now you will have mine as you watch over me”.
