Posted: December 20th, 2019It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of their dear mother, Kam Oy Wong, at St. Joseph’s Home – Carmel Hospice in Medicine Hat, on Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at the age of 95 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Lucky (Quong Sing) Wong; her daughter, Trevina and son, Henry Jay. Kam will be lovingly remembered by her children, Lily and Barry; grandchildren, Nathan (Linda) Chu, Natalie (Eddie Lo, Kamelia (Robert) Giles; great-grandchildren, Nolan, Caitlyn, Brandon, Christopher, Stephen and Ava as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Toronto and China. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on December 27, 2019, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service for Kam will be celebrated at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel on December 28, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery. The family would like to express their appreciation to all the Doctors, Nurses and support staff for the care of their mother at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, Medicine Hat Regional Hospital and St. Joseph’s Home – Carmel Hospice.
