Clayton, Kaleb and Kathleen, Elliot and Alexandra,
I am so sorry for your loss. Irene was so many things to you – a wife, a mother, a friend, and an incredible demonstration of patience, positivity, dignity, and most of all, love. She spoke of you boys and of Kathleen and Alex with the greatest pride. Her granddaughters were her joy. The only regret she ever expressed was with the limitations her poor health imposed on her interactions with her precious little girls.
As you know all too well Irene endured grievous health conditions for a long time always with the most positive uncomplaining spirit. She was one of the strongest people I’ve had the pleasure to know.
Your grief is deep and profound both for her passing and for her many years of suffering. I sympathize with you in this very difficult time.
As you acknowledged in your well written obituary, her faith was very important to your mom. She cherished the promise of a resurrection to perfect life. Free at last from the trials of her pain and disability. That will be a beautiful day.
Stay safe you guys. Draw from the love and strength Irene gave you as an extraordinary wife and mother.
Carol Franz
So sorry to hear about Irene’s passing. Condolences to you Clayton, and to all the family.
