1952 ~ 2020

Mr. Rockley Allan Fardoe, beloved husband of Mrs. Marilyn Fardoe, passed away in Medicine Hat on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at the age of 67 years. He grew up and graduated high school in Winnipeg, MB, and completed some university studies. Rockley married Marilyn Louise Koch in Brooks, AB., on May 2, 1981. He worked as a Manager for the Bank of Montreal from 1968 – 1988, was owner of Medichair Medicine Hat from 1988 – 1996, worked in furniture sales for the Medicine Hat Coop from 1996 – 2001 and as a shuttle driver with Davis Buick GMC from 2001 – 2014 before retiring on January 3, 2014. Rockley enjoyed cooking and was a sports enthusiast which included golf, football and he loved to play the piano. He was an avid Winnipeg Blue Bombers fan, attending their games whenever he could. Rockley will be lovingly remembered in the hearts of his wife, Marilyn; children, Sean Fardoe (Janice Klassen) and his children, Kody and Danielle; Dawn Fardoe (Mark Therrien) and their children, Alyssa and Ryan; brothers, Craig and Gordon and sister, Pamela. A Come & Go Celebration of Rockley’s life will be held in the Cook Southland Reception Facility, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat, on Thursday, August 20, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations in Rockley’s name may be made directly to the Medicine Hat & District Health Foundation c/o Margery E.
