OLGA “OLIVE” YOUNG 1924 ~ 2022 Olga Olive Young of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Edward Young, passed away on Sunday, December 11th, 2022 at the age of 98 years. Olga leaves to cherish her memory numerous nieces and nephews. Olga was predeceased by her husband, Edward Young; parents, John and Mary Novak; brother, Paul Novak; sisters, Mary Lypchuk, Nellie Chubak, Sylvia Hepp, Vickie Severinson, Marci Jack, Toni Roberts, and Adele Palmer. Olga was raised and educated in Yellow Creek, SK. She attended the U of A and received her Bachelor of Education. Olga taught school in Alberta, retiring in 1984. After retiring, she settled in Medicine Hat where she resided until her passing. Olga was an avid reader and enjoyed baking and gardening. In memory of Olga, please donate to the people of Ukraine. Following Olive’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. A private burial at the gravesite will take place at a later date in Yellow Creek at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
