Mrs. Wealtha ‘Ann’ Corrigan, beloved wife of Larry, passed away peacefully at Sunnyview Nursing Home with family by her side on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at the age of 76 years. Left to mourn her passing are her husband of 56 years, Lawrence; children, Jeffrey Corrigan of Fort McMurry, AB., Jennifer (Lisa) Corrigan and their children, Tyler, and Anthony all of Wyndotte, Michigan; brother, Roger (Josie) Ingham of Jaffrey, BC.; sisters, Carole (Gordon) Hallette of Cranbrook, BC., and Francis (Rolly) Portman of Kimberley, BC.; sister-in-law, Blanche Ingham of Castlegar, BC., as well as many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her parents, Carl and Julia Ingham as well as five siblings, Edward (Mary) Ingham, Tommy Ingham, Ella (Joe) Domain, Frank Ingham, Harriate (Sam) Cross. Ann was born the eighth of nine children on October 21, 1946, in Fernie, BC., to Carl and Julia Ingham. She first met Lawrence in the fall of 1963, in Fernie, BC. and they were married on April 2, 1966. Before moving to Medicine Hat in 1997, Ann lived from coast to coast and overseas over 35 years as a military wife. Ann loved to bake, read, bowl, play cards and take care of her flowers. She also loved to travel and see new places. The family would like to thank all of the staff at South Country Village for their treatment and affection shown to Ann throughout her 10 year stay there. A Celebration of Ann’s life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Murray Jaster officiating. A time of fellowship to follow in the Cook Southland Reception Facility. The service will be live streamed. Those who cannot attend but wish to experience the chapel service may visit our website and select the ‘View Broadcast’ button on the homepage at service time.
