DANIELLE COURTNEY COOPER
Posted: April 15th, 2023 DANIELLE COURTNEY COOPER It is with great sadness that our family announces the sudden passing of our beloved Danielle Courtney Cooper, at the young age of 31 years old, in Calgary, AB on Friday, March 10th, 2023.
Danielle was born on November 5, 1991 in Medicine Hat, Alberta. She spent her childhood years growing up in the Oyen Area and moved to Redcliff as a young teen with her family. She was a sweet, compassionate, beautiful little girl from day one. Her life began in Redcliff AB, where a tight-knit family surrounded her, playing sports and making friends. She graduated from Eagle Butte High School in 2010 and entered the work force shortly after, making the move to Calgary, Alberta.
Survived by her mother, Sandra Cooper, father, Brett Elsasser, step-father, Joe Bodnaruk, sisters and their children, Amber Cooper (Jaksyn, Kyranna, Harlynn), Naomi Cooper-Yates (Rhyder), Shianne Cooper-Yates (Savaya, Paxton, Stella), Baylie Cooper-Carder (Haevyn), and brothers, Chance Cooper-Carder and David Gugyelka.
Aunts and Uncles, Carman Cooper and Dawna Martin, Tracy and Bryan Walrath, their children (Taya (Lyric), Michael and Carole-Ann and Georgia). Brenda Sitter and children (Justin, Vanessa, Kevin). Mark and Tara Elsasser and their children (Destinee, Kadyn, Takira, Avaya and Cassia).
Danielle was pre-deceased by her grandfather, Harvey Elsasser.
Danielle lit up every room she entered, caring deeply about every person she met. She had a zest for life and loved her nieces, nephews, cousins and family dearly. Her presence will forever be missed, and memories cherished. Danielle will live on through her family, and eligible recipients of her donated organs through the Alberta Organ and Tissue Donation Registry.
Given her love for children and helping nature, we ask that in lieu of flowers, donations please be made to charitable organization, Redcliff Youth Centre (19 Main St. South, PO Box 1560) in her memory.
A come and go Memorial Celebration will be held at a later date, in Redcliff AB. Details will be released by Danielle’s family and shared through social media.
