MILES ALBRECHT (1955- 2023) It is with heavy hearts that we share that Miles Albrecht, our beloved husband, father, and papa, passed away on April 19, 2023, in Calgary, Alberta. Over the years he faced many health battles but never lost his fighting spirit. He had an unshakable faith in God and the afterlife. We find solace knowing that he was welcomed home by his son, Tyson; his parents, Violet and Edwin; and his sister, Tracey. Miles is survived by his wife of 49 years, Elaine; his daughters, Melissa (Nate) and Shyanna (Logan); and his two grandchildren, (Ry and Kennedi). Despite life’s many challenges, Miles never lost his sense of humor or stopped sharing his love for his family. He was always cracking jokes and was a “stinker” right up to the end. Miles had a great ability to make others smile and his sense of humor will be missed. Miles lived his life for his family and he always made us feel cherished and loved. His dedication to his family was his fuel for his fight and his love for his family will never be forgotten. Our loss is heart wrenching now that he is gone because we loved him so deeply. Miles was, is, and will forever be loved and cherished by all those who have had the pleasure of knowing him. We are all better for having him in our lives.
