Posted: July 12th, 2023 LEMONT TABOR February 1, 1943 ~ July 9, 2023
The family of Lemont John Tabor, beloved husband of Alida, announce his peaceful passing at St. Joseph’s Home – Carmel Hospice in Medicine Hat on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at the age of 80 years. Along with Alida, Lemont leaves to cherish his memory: son, Ryan (Terri) Tabor; daughter, Andrea Tabor (Daniel Tieman); step-son, Troy (Catherine) Hildenbrand; grandchildren, Rileigh and Reese Tabor; step-grandchildren, Jayden and Jenna Hildenbrand and his beloved dog, Molli. Lemont is also survived by his sister, Bonnie Tabor and her family and sister-in-law, Grace (Harold) Phillips who helped the family throughout Lemont’s journey. He was predeceased by his father, John Frank Tabor and his mother, Elizabeth ‘Beth’ Young. Lemont had a successful career as the Regional Manager with AGT and in his later years as a real estate agent at Royal LePage. Lemont was a great golfer and an avid curler but his family was his pride and joy! He fought hard to the end and never complained, nor did he let anyone know how bad the pain was. He was a soft spoken gentleman and a special person to all who knew and loved him. He will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph’s Home for the care they provided to Lemont in his final days. A Private Graveside Service in Lemont’s honour will be held at Hillside Cemetery.
