HOMER BARKMAN 1933 – 2023 Homer Barkman of Medicine Hat, Alberta passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at the age of 90 years at Medicine Hat Regional Hospital. He is survived by one brother George (Martha) Barkman, eight children (five daughters and three sons) Diana and Armin Kottke, Len and Jan Barkman, Sharon and Del Kehler, Randy and Viola Barkman, Lorna and Rudy Martens, Darlene and Bruce Sawatzky, Gerald and Trudy Barkman, Michelle and Brad Lutz. Also left to mourn his passing are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild as well as many nieces and nephews and in-laws. He was predeceased by his loving wife Helen of 57 years in 2012, his grandson Derek Kehler in 2015, infant daughter Eva in 1957, one sister and two brothers. The Celebration of his Life will take place on Monday July 17, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Seven Persons Community Church in Seven Persons, Alberta.
