1933 ~ JAMES GEHRING ~ 2023 James Gehring of Medicine Hat, passed away on Saturday, October 28th, 2023 at the age of 90 years. James leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Shirley; Jim’s children, Shelley Janssens, Blair Gehring and Dana (Marilyn) Gehring, Shirley’s children, Dean (Regina) Durst and Brenda Grona; grandchildren, Jennifer, Bradley, Sarah, Brien, Michelle, Jacee, Jory, Jenna, Jackson and Jules; step-grandchild, Dakota Grona; sister, Cindy Gehring as well as numerous nieces and nephews. James was predeceased by his parents, Emil and Ruby Gehring; sisters, Sudaen Warren and Iris Stuber, and his first wife, Joyce Gehring, of 42 years. Jim was in the Navy for three years, and spent the rest of his career in Law Enforcement over 25 years in various positions serving as a Police Officer, Highway Patrol Officer, and Government Transportation Enforcement Manager right up until the time of his retirement. The Memorial Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Southridge, 7 Sierra Boulevard SW Medicine Hat, AB T1B 4N5, on Wednesday, November 8th, 2023 at 10:00am with Conductee Bishop Matt Gibb officiating.
