DANTON VALKENBURG 1991 ~ 2023 Danton Cole Valkenburg of Medicine Hat passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023 at the age of 32 years, beloved son of Todd and Val Valkenburg. He also leaves to cherish his memory his sister Vanessa (Matthew) Gagnon and their children Jack and Logan; his grandmother Gladys Valkenburg and his biological birth mother Tammy Rector, his biological maternal grandmother Holly Morine as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Danton was predeceased by his grandfather Donald K. Valkenburg and his biological birth father Noel Betts. Those who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTRE on Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to the service. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTRE on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Life Celebrant David Townsend officiating. I am so saddened to read of Danton’s passing. I remember well when he was swimming with AMAC. His joy and passion for the sport was infectious. Danton was proud to be on the team and cheered for all his teammates. This is a young life gone too soon.
