Posted: November 18th, 2023 LINDA ANNE MULLIGAN 1957 ~ 2023 A dedicated wife, mother, and grandma, Linda’s presence will not end with her passing. Mom, who exemplified true courage, strength and perseverance battled her storm each and every day with her courageous heart and grace. After a five-year struggle with kidney failure, mom passed away peacefully in her family home on November 14, 2023, at the age of 66 years. Linda will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 48 years, Connor, who cared for her tenderly throughout her battle. She also leaves behind her children, Sean, the eldest, Scott (Trena) and their son, Trey, James (Maxine) and their children, Kaven & Ky, and Jera (Cory Gardner) along with her two children, Maliea and Ari, who are her pride and joy. Linda is also survived by her sisters, Julie, Sharon, Angela (Jeff), Kathleen (Nino) and Jackie; her brothers, Graham (Chayada) and Bryan; and her parents, Gary and Theresa Chalmers. Linda was born in England and at the age of nine the family pursued a new beginning in Canada. Linda was a gifted seamstress and cook and loved working with her son, Sean, assisting him in his business. She excelled at sales with her charismatic personality and contagious smile. Linda dedicated her life to caring for her family and wouldn’t be content unless she could feed you. She cherished her family gatherings. She will so dearly be missed by those who knew and loved her, and she will be remembered fondly for her passion for life, thoughtfulness and her unconditional love. The family would like to acknowledge the extra care and kindness that Dr. Ahmad and his staff provided. A Celebration of Linda’s life will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1 Dunmore Rd SE, Medicine Hat, on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Shane Hein officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, 6007 1A Street SW, Calgary, AB, T2H 0G5 and Alberta Diabetes Foundation, 1 020 HRIF-East, University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB, T6G 2E1.
