DONNA ROCKETT 1947 ~ 2023
Donna Rockett, beloved wife of the late Terry Rockett, passed away in Medicine Hat on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at the age of 76 years. Donna’s memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of her family: three sons, Neil (Julie) Gillis of Ontario as well as George (Dee) Gillis and Don (Lisa) Gillis of Medicine Hat; step-daughter, Tina of England as well as seven grandchildren and one great-grandson. She is also survived by two sisters and one brother as well as numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. Along with Terry, Donna was predeceased by her parents, Bob and Beatrice Leech as well as five siblings. Through the years, Donna made many lasting friendships in the dart community and also while working in daycare and at nursing homes. Her memory will live on through her family and many friends throughout Canada and in Britain. A Celebration of Donna’s life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Friday, December 8, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Murray Jaster officiating. A time of fellowship will follow immediately thereafter in the Cook Southland Reception Facility. Donna’s service will be live-streamed.
