MERNA STANGLER (NÉE MARTIN) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Merna Stangler (née Martin), 64, on December 31, 2023, due to health complications. She was a cherished mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose presence brought warmth and love to people who knew her.
Born on March 26, 1959, Merna filled the lives of those around her with kindness, compassion, and joy. Her dedication to her family and friends was unwavering, and her nurturing spirit touched the hearts of everyone she met. Merna will be deeply missed and remembered.
She is survived by her two children, Kyle (Heather) Stangler and Kayla Stangler; two brothers, David (Peggy) Martin and Allan (Susan) Martin; sister, Shirley (Stan) Bosma; and granddaughter, Claire Stangler. Merna was predeceased by her mother, Edna and father Alvin and her companion Keith.
A private service to honor her life will be held for family in accordance to her wishes where she will be laid to rest with her mother and father. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a charity of your wish in memory of Merna Stangler (née Martin).
May her soul find eternal peace, and may the memories of her love and grace bring comfort to those who mourn her passing.
