MARLENE MCDONALD 1944 ~ 2024 Marlene Ann McDonald of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Garry McDonald, passed away on Saturday, February 24th, 2024 at the age of 79 years. Marlene leaves to cherish her memory her children, Carol McDonald, Kathy Lavoie, Kevin Gallinger, Karen (DJ) Worrell, and Christina (Ryan) McNeil; grandchildren, Kayla Worrell, Miranda Nielson-Worrell, Jasmine McDonald, Ethan Gallinger, Jamie Lavoie, Justin Lavoie, and Jeremi Lavoie; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Sandra Abraham; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Marlene was predeceased by her husband, Garry; parents, Carl and Beatrice Siivonen; and brother, Thomas Siivonen. Marlene was a very supportive lady as well as an amazing mother figure. She loved fishing, camping, her friends, and enjoyed an evening out at bingo, but her absolute favorite thing was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
