Rhoda Kagan
Posted: March 6th, 2024RHODA KAGAN 1944 – 2024 Rhoda Kagan (nee: Stone) of Winnipeg, Manitoba passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at the age of 79 years. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Donna Kagan and Haley Kagan; one grandson Colin Penny and two great grandchildren Olivia and Jack; her sister Heather (Jeff) Jackson, her brother Perry (Barbara) Stone, two nieces, Dena Stone Scherer and Shawna Stone, two nephews Eric Jackson and Levi Jackson and a close friend Roslyn Nairn. She was predeceased by her parents Sam and Sheri Stone and by one brother Gerald Stone. Rhoda was born in Winnipeg and was raised in Medicine Hat. Even though she lost her eyesight at an early age she never lost interest in learning and life. She attended the University of Manitoba and received a degree in social work. She was then able to work with others who had lost their sight. A private interment service will take place at Hillside Cemetery.
