BILL STUBER
Posted: April 17th, 2024 BILL STUBER 1930 -2024 William “Bill” Lloyd Stuber passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at the age of 93 years, beloved husband of Verna Stuber of Medicine Hat. He also leaves to cherish memory one son Wayne (Kathy); grandchildren, Jennifer, Brant (Candace); great grandsons Caden and Liam; daughter-in-law Wanda Stuber, granddaughters Brandi, Breann and a great grandson Jacob; his sisters, Violet Heller (Edwin deceased) and Delores Gartly (Gerald), brother-in-law Marvin and Ruth Rath as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his youngest son Warren on November 16, 2018, by his parents Molly and Frank Stuber, his parents-in-law Emma and Fred Rath sister-in-law and brother-in-law Gladys and Elmer Schlenker. Bill was born on December 13, 1930, in Medicine Hat and attended school at Lloyds School in the Wisdom area. He married Verna Rath on October 30, 1953. He farmed and ranched in the Wisdom area his whole life. In 1976, they moved to Medicine Hat and he drove City Bus for the Transit Department for 20 years, making many new friends. Bill and Verna were members of the Moose Lodge and enjoyed all the activities there. His family would like to thank the staff on 5 west and Dr. Larjani for the outstanding care given to William. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTRE on Friday, April 19, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. with Life Celebrant David Townsend officiating.
