GLORIA PICKEN 1942 ~ 2024 Gloria Picken of Medicine Hat, passed away on Saturday, April 20th, 2024 at the age of 82 years. Gloria leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Doug Picken; children, Bruce Picken, Sandy Brabant (Mel) and Debbie Picken; grandchildren, Mark Picken (Amber) and Christine Hilsendeger; great-grandchildren, Cade, Lacey and Rowan; brother, Stan O’Connor (Sandy). Gloria loved camping, gardening, stock car races and searching for hubcaps in the ditches but most of all spending time with her grandchildren. She had a love for country music, loved to sing and have dance parties and watched the country music channel every Friday night. Gloria was the glue to our family, a very strong woman and didn’t get enough credit for everything she did for everyone. There will be no funeral service held at this time. Memorial gifts in Gloria’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 325 Manning Road NE, Calgary, AB T2E 2P5.
