WENDY HEIDINGER

WENDY HEIDINGER (nee Austin) (nee Beisel) 1958 ~ 2024 Wendy passed away at St. Joseph’s Home – Carmel Hospice in Medicine Hat on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at the age of 65 years following her battle with lung cancer. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 32 years, Dennis Heidinger; her children, Jay Heidinger, Crystal Stoyke and Jeffery Beisel; grandchildren, Zander Heidinger, Ryder Stoyke, Jada Nelson-Beisel and Rowan Stoyke. She is also survived by her mother, Ev Austin; three brothers, Jim Austin, Terry Austin (Sherry) and Randy Austin (Dee) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Wendy was predeceased by her first husband, Rick Beisel in 1986 and her father, Gil Austin in 2018. A Celebration of Wendy’s life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. with Life Celebrant Gerry Getz officiating.
