1938 ~ RUBY FISCHER ~ 2024 Ruby Fischer of Medicine Hat, passed away on Sunday, May 26th, 2024 at the age of 85 years. Ruby leaves to cherish her memory her children, Cindy (Bob) Chartrand, Renee (Mike) Buttar, Kelly (Lee) Fischer and Darryl Fischer (Wendy); grandchildren, Nikki (Jason), Tyson, Dawson (Cat), Marshall (Kaibre), Madelyn, Boyd, Taryn and Jolan; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Areia, Dwayne and Banks; brother, Randy (Linda) Rieger; sisters-in-law, Shirley Rieger and Vi Rieger; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Ruby was predeceased by her parents, Ruben and Edna Rieger; husband, Albert Fischer; brothers, Jim Rieger and Ken Rieger. Family was everything to Ruby, spending time and cooking for her family was her number one joy. She will be forever missed and lovingly remembered. There will be a private Graveside service held. She did not have the freedom of good health but bravely faced every health issue that was thrown at her. She doesn’t need to be brave now, she’s fought a good fight and now she can rest. I’m sure that she left all of you many happy memories that will remain with you forever. To all of you our love and thoughts are with you, not just today but in the difficult days ahead. Though we haven’t had much contact in recent years we have never forgotten you.
