ARLENE ZORN 1938 ~ 2024 We are heartbroken to announce our mother, Arlene Zorn (nee Roeder) passed away on July 18, 2024 at the age of 86 years in Medicine Hat, AB. Left to treasure her memory are her daughters, Glenda Zorn-Sharpe, Twila Fournier & Luanne (Rick) Schneider, seven beloved grandchildren; and five cherished great-grandchildren; and brother, Gordon (Donna) Roeder. She also leaves behind many cherished family members and friends. Arlene was predeceased by her husband, Ernie Zorn; son, Robert Zorn; son-in-law, Arnold Sharpe and sister, Sharon Zieffle. Arlene was a dedicated volunteer, loving wife, mother and one hell of a good cook! A huge hole remains in our hearts and we will miss her so! So sorry to hear of the passing of Arlene. Ernie played in our band for years and Arlene was always there with him. What good times, especially the visits after entertaining. We connected with her every month now that she was in the Teoda. Our last conversation and laugh was the time she cooked supper for us while we were jamming. The pudding didn’t taste like it should when she thought the mug had sugar. I think of her every time I see the salt label on that mug.
