MEMORY VELVA MYERS 1930 – 2024 Memory Velva Myers passed away peacefully on August 3, 2024, in Medicine Hat, AB at the age of 93 years. Born on December 13, 1930, in Dundurn, SK. Memory was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; son, Morley; brother, Harry (Florence) Jackson; and sister, Maurine. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Lynn Myers (Jay Bertrand); loving son, Larry (Sally Massini) Myers; cherished grandchildren, Joel (Crystal) Myers, Simon Myers, Hannah Myers, and Stephen Myers; great-grandson, Lincoln; daughter-in-law, Isabelle Ma; as well as numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart. A graveside service to honour Memory’s beautiful life will be held at Saamis Prairie View Cemetery, 5160 Gershaw Drive SW, Medicine Hat, AB on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at 1:00 PM with Fr. Iqbal Khurshid, Celebrant. Family, friends and all whose lives she touched are invited to celebrate her legacy and bid farewell to a remarkable woman.
