LEAH PRUNELLA BROWN (nee HARTH)
With heavy hearts, our family announces the passing of our Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother, Leah Brown on August 16, 2024, at the age of 84. Leah was born in Kincaid, Saskatchewan, on July 14, 1940. She spent her childhood years in the Mankota and Aneroid area. In her teens, she worked at the local store in Aneroid. In 1961, she married Milton Brown from Climax, Saskatchewan. Eventually, they settled down south of Climax on the Master’s place to farm until retiring to Medicine Hat. Leah enjoyed knitting, sewing, gardening, farming and spending time with her grandchildren. Leah leaves behind her three children, Patrick Brown, Peotta (Daniel) Halderman, and Tanis (Lorne) Hiar; four grandchildren Jaci Halderman, Dayton (Terren) Halderman, Cody (Kayla) Hiar, and Taylor (Cori) Hiar; three great-grandchildren Tenley Halderman, Jack and Riley Hiar; one brother, Myril Harth; as well as numerous relatives and friends. Leah was predeceased by her parents, Louis and Emily Harth; her husband Milton Brown, and her brother Gordon Harth. A private family memorial will be held this fall.
