BERYL MILLER (nee KINGSTON)
Posted: October 18th, 2024 BERYL MILLER (nee KINGSTON) 1934 2024 Beryl Miller of Medicine Hat passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at the age of 90 years, beloved wife of Joseph Miller. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Mark (Jill Miller) Miller; daughter, Tanya (Wally Long) George; four grandchildren, Joseph (Joey), Jordon and Justin Miller (mother, Dawn Miller) and Aysia George (father, Troy George). Beryl was predeceased by her parents, Cyril and Hilda Kingston; brother, Fred Kingston; and sister, Penny Wallace.
Beryl was born September 04, 1934, in Maidstone, England. She met the love of her life, Joe, in 1956, and they were married on September 20, 1958. They welcomed their son, Mark into the world on October 23, 1959, and then three years later, they welcomed their daughter, Tanya on July 16, 1962. November 06th, 1974, was a special day in their lives as they packed up all their belongings and immigrated to Medicine Hat, Canada.
Mum worked at various places Woolworth’s, Sears, Med. Hat Credit Union, Avon, and Shoppers Drug Mart. Anyone that knew her would remember her as she called everyone “lovey”. Many customers adored her and would wait in line so Mum could help them. She retired from the workforce in 1994. In her spare time, she loved to needlepoint, knit, go for walks, and let’s not forget, have coffee dates at Timmie’s with her bestie, Rita Swalm.
No formal funeral service will be held. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2025.

Mark, Joey, Jordon & Justin, I am sorry to hear of your mom/grandmother’s passing. Beryl was always a friendly lady, and had a great sense of humour. I do remember her calling everyone”lovey.” What a great life she lived. My sincere condolences.
Although I did not know beryl well, seeing her was the highlight of my previous job at masterpiece. She was so kind and loved by all. She nor Joe may not remember me, but I will always remember them. Rest in peace beryl, you were an amazing woman. I hope her family receives the love and support they need after her passing. Best wishes and my condolences.
