LOTTIE PACHOLEK 1932 – 2024

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Lieselotte “Lottie” Pacholek (nee Pettirsch) of Medicine Hat, on November 10, 2024, at the age of 92 years, beloved wife of the late Nikolaus Pacholek. Nick and Lottie were married in Germany and later immigrated to Canada in 1956 where they were blessed with three children. Her Catholic faith was very important to her and she loved to bake and cook German delicacies. She spent her time doing her favorite things; gardening, growing flowers and reading the newspaper. Sunday family gatherings filled with food and company will be a memory we will forever cherish. Lottie is survived by her children Ray (Vickey) Pacholek, Elizabeth (Owen) Elgert, Michael (Penny) Pacholek; her grandchildren Collin (Stacey) and their children Dana, Natalie and Lauren; Brandon (Shalese) and their children Karsen, Hailynn, Nateya, Linden and Emily; Alicia (Calvin) and their children Layton, Kinley and Maylee; Natasha (Mike) and their children Ethan, Dylan and Avery; Megan (Justin) and their children Abigale, Cassandra, Madison, Hayden and Brooklyn, Colton (Rijalda) and their child Austin; Nickolaus (Ciarra); Amanda and her children Madilyn, Domanick and Chloe; one nephew Shane (Krissy) Pettirsch and their children Kemery and Krew. She was predeceased by her husband Nick, parents Franz and Emma Pettirsch, one brother Warren Pettirsch and a nephew Ted Pettirsch. The family would also like to extend a thank you to the staff at the Wellington, Homecare and Dr. Lötter for all the care they provided Lottie.
