GARY LLOYD STREET July 24, 1939 December 1, 2024 Gary Lloyd Street, aged 85, of Medicine Hat, Alberta passed away peacefully on December 1, 2024, with his devoted wife by his side. He was the embodiment of love, generosity, and the kind of wisdom you can only earn through a lifetime of helping others.
Gary was the ultimate problem- solver whether fixing a leaky faucet, a broken bicycle, or a car that refused to start, he was always there with the right tool and a big heart. He had an incredible love for children and was a constant source of support and strength for those around him.
Gary is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lois; his children, Michael (Heather), Christie (Christiaan), and Trevor (Cheryl); and his grandchildren, Jordyn (Mark), Riley (Dagmar), Aaryn, Ashtyn, and Daniel. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Stuart.
A celebration of Gary’s incredible life will be held in the summer of 2025 in Rocanville, Saskatchewan. In lieu of flowers and to honor his generous spirit, the family kindly requests for donations to be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 325 Manning Road NE, Calgary, AB T2E 2P5 or a personal blood donation to your local blood bank in his memory.
