George Thomas “Tom” Rose, son of Dr. Janet Rose and the late Richard (Dick) Rose, passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 65 years. Tom leaves his memory with his companion, Gail (Scribner) Tucker; as well as his sons, Christopher Belcourt (Michelle Dodge) and their son, Jaden, Cory (Randi) Belcourt and their daughter, Summer, Curtis Belcourt, and Sean Rose (Tether Link); his only brother, David Rose, along with many others who he loved dearly. Tom was predeceased by his wife, Angela Belcourt-Rose, and his daughter, Meaghen Rose. Tom was born on April 13, 1959, in Medicine Hat. He grew up on a ranch West of Redcliff on Highway 524. Tom spent the majority of his career working in the oil and gas industry where he made many connections in and around the area of Medicine Hat, later he transitioned into the green energy industry. He was a jack of all trades and a master of some. In 2000, the family resided in Bow Island, where he made a home and many friends. Tom was a very passionate man towards any job he took on. His knowledge was impeccable, he was an avid reader and was continuously learning new things. Tom was looking forward to slowing down this year to spend more time with family and working on more projects of his own. Tom constantly saw the value in things that others did not. He would actively try to find new projects to fix or build into something new. He touched the lives of many and will be forever missed.
