1950 ~ LINDA MOAR ~ 2025 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Linda Mary Moar (nee Wickenheiser) who passed away surrounded by her loved ones, on January 16, 2025, at the age of 74 years. She is survived by her children, Chad (Jody) Moar, Deanne (Dennis) Pelley, Jody (Nick) Ruttle; grandchildren, Taylor (Katelynn) MacDonald, Ryley (Kaitlin) MacDonald, Douglas Moar, Kaitlyn (Tyler) Moar, Sophie Ruttle, Alex Ruttle; great grandchildren, Willow MacDonald, Malcolm MacDonald, Ian MacDonald and another nugget expected in June; brothers, Dick (Margrethe) Wickenheiser, Mike (Brenda) Wickenheiser, and Ron Nelson; sisters, Carol (Ken) Small and Brenda (Bill) Wickenheiser, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Linda was predeceased by her husband, Norman Moar; her parents, John and Irene Wickenheiser; sister, Gaileen Nelson; and partner, Ray Mompere. Linda loved being surrounded by her family, reading, doing puzzles and she also enjoyed having a nice glass of wine. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Calgary, AB.
