MARK ERNEST CLARE 1956 – 2025 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at the age of 68 years. Mark spent 20 years in the Canadian Armed Forces and was proud to serve his country. In his retirement years, he spent countless hours tinkering with different adventures. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 43 years, Dianne; daughters, Michelle and Samantha (Ryan); grandchildren Micheal, Kira, Madelyn and Amelia; bonus daughter, Kala Curé; sister, Donna (John) Rothel; sisters-in-law, Debbie Ewald, Dawn Neely, Beth Wagenaar and Shawn Marchuk: as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mark was predeceased by his father, Ronald; mother, Rita; father-in-law, Richard Marchuk; mother-in-law, Lorna Marchuk; brother-in-law, Kelly Neely and Patrick Wagenaar. He fought with everything he had in him and was able to keep a smile on his face and his endless jokes to make others smile. Dad never knew a stranger; anyone he met was a friend; he always had a joke to tell to make others laugh or would sit quietly to be a sounding board to anyone in need. If you ever had the pleasure of meeting him, we are sure he left a lasting impression. His famous saying was, “Don’t sweat the small stuff, and everything small is small stuff.” We would like to thank all the medical staff, friends, and family who helped us tremendously through the final battle. Now, he can rest easy. The battle is over. A private family service will be held at a later date. Anyone wishing to make donations can make donations to a charity of one’s choice.
