ERIC KARY Eric Dwayne Kary, 49, passed away on February 12, 2025, in Red Deer, Alberta. He was born on May 5, 1975, in Provost, Alberta. Eric’s life was marked by his happy and kind nature, and his brilliant smile could light up any room. He had a gentle and angelic presence that touched the hearts of those around him. Throughout his life, he resided in various long-term care homes in Medicine Hat and Red Deer, Alberta, where he was surrounded by compassionate caregivers who became like family to him. He is lovingly remembered by his father, Val Kary; his sisters Carmen (Gary) Ebel, Vanessa Kary, and Cynthia Kary; his nephew Austin (Marissa) Ebel; his niece MacKenzie (Conor Jensen) Ebel; and his great-nephew Henry Ebel. Eric was predeceased by his mother, Janice Kary. The family extends their deepest gratitude to Korie and the incredible group of caregivers in Red Deer who provided Eric with unwavering love and compassion.
