Red was born on the farm just outside of Neville, Saskatchewan where he grew up. Once leaving home, he went to work for Sask Power where he worked the majority of his career in Gull Lake until his retirement. Once he retired, he spent his time with family and enjoyed doing the things he loved such as gardening, feeding and playing with the animals, riding a tractor, relaxing on the deck and reading a book or watching the grandchildren. He especially enjoyed his regular trips to the casino and was always up for a good debate whether it was playing jeopardy or just because! Red’s corny jokes which he thought were so funny will always be remembered by all who had the opportunity to spend time with him.
