PASQUALINA GIASE (NEE ROSSI) 1937 ~ 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pasqualina Giase (nee Rossi) on March 26, 2025, at the age of 88. She was born in Sant’ Andrea del Garigliano, Frosinone, Italy. She was the youngest of four daughters to Carminella Mazzarella and Domenico Antonio Rossi.
In December 1958, Pasqualina embarked on a new journey, immigrating to Canada with her sister Annita and her two young daughters. A hardworking and determined woman, she built a beautiful life rooted in love, dedication, and family.
Pasqualina had a deep passion for gardening, finding joy and peace in nurturing her plants. She also cherished the outdoors, often spending time camping and fishing alongside her beloved husband of 66 years, Biase Giase.
She is survived by her loving husband Biase and their three children: Rocky (Sharon) Giase of Kelowna, Carmen (Kevin) Thorne, and Caroline (Joe) Greenan of Medicine Hat. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to eight wonderful grandchildren: Charys Giase (Clyf Lieverse), Maria (Derek) Wyman, Sharla (Erik) Hatterscheidt, Josie (Derek) Alyward, Amanda (Chad) Densmore, Adam Thorne, Chris Greenan (Carissa Lippert), and Nick (Holly) Greenan.
Her legacy continues through her eleven great-grandchildren: Anthony Martin, Jacob and Zoe Wyman, Sienna and Archer Hatterscheidt, Jackson and Austin Alyward, Athena and Jasen Densmore, Kyla Thorne, and Forrest Greenan. She is also lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews in Canada, Italy and the United States.

Pasqalina wilI be forever missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTRE on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Iqbal Khurshid officiating.
