Robert “Bob” Hall went to be with the Lord on July 30, 2025, at the age of 95 years. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Thelma Hall; granddaughter, Cassandra Hall; nieces and nephews, Gerald and Helen Hall, Maxine and Ken Tamura, Marilyn Krause and Ully Sustrate, Dixie and Kevin Durk, Shelley and Gord Cowan, Sharon and Rick Solvey, and Harvey and Barb Hall. Bob was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Alice; his parents, Harvey and Clara Hall; siblings, Doris and Jack Hatley, Elmer “Bud” and Frieda Hall, Earl “Babe” and Martha Hall, and Douglas and Vi Hall; as well as his niece, Linda Hall. Robert Charles Hall was born on August 29, 1929, in Medicine Hat and was the last surviving child of the five children of Harvey Morris Hall and Clara Alta Hall (nee Vraa). Bob married Alice Leona Hall (nee Scott) on October 28, 1955, in Medicine Hat, who predeceased him on November 29, 2005, at the age of 76 years. Bob shared a special bond with his dog, Carmel, spending hours walking and playing with her, making her a true companion in his life. He also enjoyed a good glass of Irish whiskey and watching his favourite sports teams, the Medicine Hat Tigers and the Toronto Blue Jays. Bob always carried a content and joyful spirit throughout his life. He built a long and proud career driving buses and working with heavy equipment at CFB Suffield for 30 years, forming lasting friendships and being known for his hard work and dedication. Also known for his wit, charm, and humour, he had a way of making everyone feel truly welcomed and valued, always ready with a funny joke or story. He stepped up in life when is mattered most, devoting his life to caring for his daughter and granddaughter. He became the father she needed and was always by her side with love and support. He showed them what true family meant and gave them a sense of home and belonging that will never be forgotten. He loved his late wife deeply and faithfully, carrying that love every day of his life. His legacy of love, laughter, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. A Celebration of Bob’s life will be held at Saamis Memorial Funeral Chapel, 1 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat, AB, on Thursday, August 7th, 2025, at 11:00 am with Pastor Shane Hein officiating. In honour of Bob’s passion for sports, everyone in attendance is asked to please wear their favourite Toronto Blue Jays or Medicine Hat Tigers jersey.
