CODY ALLAN RAK
Posted: December 31st, 2025 CODY ALLAN RAK 1988 ~ 2025 Taken too soon, Cody Allan Rak passed away in Medicine Hat on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at the young age of 37 years. The light of his memory will continue to burn bright within the hearts of his family: father, Gerry Rak (Twila); mother, Marla (Rob) Theise; grandmother, Norma Brown; brothers, Brady and Ethin Rak as well as numerous other extended family. He was predeceased by his Grandpa Brown and his Grandpa and Grandma Rak as well as two cousins. Cody was born in Medicine Hat; raised and received his education in both Medicine Hat and Bow Island. After school, he worked for a number of years with Precision Drilling while taking on other jobs such as landscaping and snow removal. Cody was a hard worker, but he also enjoyed his down time, whether spending time with family and friends or the outdoors on a camping trip. A true “car guy”, Cody could often be found attending car shows in the city. His gentle soul will forever be missed by those whose lives he touched. A Come and Go Celebration of Cody’s life will be held at the Moose Lodge, 901 – 8 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Saturday, January 3, 2026, between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Those wishing to remember Cody may do so through donations to the Root Cellar, 440 Maple Avenue S.E., Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 0L3.
