ETHAN BELL 1996 ~ 2025 It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ethan Michael Bell announce his passing in Medicine Hat on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the age of 29 years. Left to remember Ethan are his parents, Danielle (Vince) Hamerton and Michael (Danielle) Bell; siblings, Lucas Hamerton, Jillian Hamerton, Elizabeth Hamerton, Damian Hamerton, Braydon (Tanisha) Johnson and Austin Johnson; grandparents, Veronica Marr, Perry and Gail Marr, Mike and Karen Hamerton as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces. He was predeceased by his grand-parents, Denise (Ma) and Gord Earl. Ethan was born in Medicine Hat and was raised in the Irvine area where he attended elementary and middle school before graduating from Eagle Butte High School in 2014. From an early age, Ethan showed a creative spirit and a fearless approach to life, always choosing to walk his own path. Artistic, caring and generous, Ethan had a deep capacity for kindness and authenticity. He was involved in minor hockey for seven years, where he built lasting friendships and learned the value of teamwork and perseverance. Away from the rink, Ethan found freedom and joy in snowboarding. He left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. Ethan’s life will be honoured at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Murray Jaster officiating.
