Ann was born on November 18th, 1936, in Coaldale, AB. At the age of six, her parents purchased a farm, where there was lots of work to keep the family busy. At thirteen, Ann came to a personal faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. After finishing high school, she entered Galt School of Nursing in Lethbridge and, upon graduation, completed a post-graduate course in psychiatric nursing in Ponoka. She later went on to Bible School, knowing she wanted to know God better and His Word.
After graduating from Briercrest Bible College in 1963, Ann and Harold were married. One year later, they left for Argentina to fulfill their missionary calling, where they faithfully served for 40 years. In 2004, they returned to Canada and made Medicine Hat their home.
Ann’s final move was to Havenview Care Centre, where she resided for eight years until her passing. She will be remembered for her joyful spirit and enduring smile, which remained with her until her final days, by all those who cared for her. The family would like to thank the entire staff at South Country Village for the excellent care and compassion shown to their beloved mother over the years.
